Katie Price 'livid' as she denies that her children have become the face of McDonald's

Katie Price has furiously shut down claims that she had signed for two of her children to become the face of McDonald’s, with it being reported that the mum-of-five was desperate for her kids to make a name for themselves in the celebrity circuit.

Katie took to Twitter last night shortly after the story broke, slamming the report that 12-year-old Junior and 10-year-old Princess were set to make a six-figure salary as the face of the fast food restaurant’s Happy Meals.

The star wrote: “Well this is the first I’ve heard of this about my children so maybe @McDonaldsUK need to get in touch as I’m their mother.

“I have not meet any @McDonaldsUK marketing team to discuss any such deal involving any of my 5 five children ! ….LIVID. [SIC]”

A source had previously told The Sun: “Katie has made no secret that she wants Junior and Princess to follow in her footsteps and become TV stars.

“When McDonald’s approached them, she and Peter [Andre, they children’s father] thought it would be the perfect opportunity to get their names out there.

“They met the McDonald’s marketing team, who immediately fell in love with the kids, who are already big fans of McDonald’s. The team have been so impressed with them that they decided to make them a six-figure offer to work on the Happy Meal campaigns next year.

“They’ve been given a deal to front two campaigns, and they could do more in the future.”

The claims come just months after Katie faced backlash when she seemingly used her children to promote a drinks brand.

The former glamour model angered her followers when she shared a video of Princess and Junior talking about Hey Like Wow drinks on Instagram, with the caption directing Katie’s fans on how to buy the drink.

Katie hit back at the critics, saying that she should be praised for promoting sugar free drinks.
