Katie Price: Man arrested after star is injured in alleged assault in Essex in early hours of the morning

A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault following an alleged attack on TV personality and former model Katie Price, which left her needing hospital treatment.

Emergency services were called to a property in Little Canfield, Essex, in the early hours of Monday morning, and Price, 43, was treated for a facial injury following the incident.

A spokesperson for Essex Police said officers were notified to reports of an assault shortly after 1.30am, by colleagues in the ambulance service.

"We arrived and found a woman had sustained a facial injury which required hospital treatment," the police spokesperson said.

"A 32-year-old man was arrested a short time later on suspicion of assault. He remains in custody."
