Loose Women’s Katie Price has said her son Harvey will die unless he ‘sorts’ his health problems out.

The 16-year-old who suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome weighs 22 stone and is in danger of developing type 2 diabetes.

Price, 40, is currently divorcing her third husband Kieran Hayler, who she caught cheating by hacking into his phone when he was sleeping.

While promoting her latest series of My Crazy Life, Price said: ‘Harvey has had to start training. He weighs over 22 stone now. If you look at all of my kids we all eat the same, we’re all the same.’

Her son’s new fitness regime is thanks to the help of her latest boyfriend Kris Boyson, who happens to be a weight-loss specialist.

And Harvey’s weight is, as Price says, exacerbated by his condition. ‘But he’s got medical problems,’ she admits.

Price says that there’s a real chance Harvey could die if it’s not treated and the teen doesn’t lose weight: ‘And if he doesn’t sort it out he will die, we’ve been told, because of his heart. So at the moment we are really trying to sort out his health.’

She originally met her new boyfriend when he was hired to train Harvey, admitting she fell for him after the way he was with her son: ‘Obviously somebody who’s going to give my son attention like that when nobody’s ever given him that … seeing the smile on his face – course it’s attractive.’

She continued: ‘He’s got the banter. Kieran was a personal trainer before and not once did he try and train Harvey.

‘But for me, if you think about all the men that have come into Harvey’s life, they are there but then as soon as they go they don’t want to know him.’

‘Kris is helping Harvey and of course I like that. He’s just very level headed and I think he’s definitely come into my life at the right time,’ Price said.

Harvey was born in 2002 and is the son of former Manchester United footballer Dwight Yorke.
