Katie Price slams cruel trolls who mocked disabled son Harvey with Christmas jumper

Katie Price has slammed a range of Christmas jumpers which cruelly mock her disabled son Harvey.

The former glamour model hit out at people who have been wearing the Christmas jumper emblazoned with her son Harvey’s face on which reads “Ho Ho Hello You C***”.

“Why do people continue to mock my son,” Ms Price wrote on Twitter, including an article about a man wearing the jumper. “If these people met Harvey they would feel disgusted.”

A video of a man in the jumper went viral this week after he was seen wearing it in a restaurant, as fellow diners asked him to take it off and others called it “horrendous”.

The phrase came about when Harvey, who is blind, autistic and suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome, told Loose Women that’s how he would respond if people were mean to him.

Although eBay has worked to remove the distasteful jumpers from its website, one seller has still managed to flog more than 100 on the site this Christmas.

Speaking to the Sun, a spokesman for eBay said: “These items were immediately removed and the seller suspended. These items have no place on our marketplace.”

Fans of Ms Price raged at the cruel jumper, with one writing: “Why on earth are these people who are making this stuff getting away with it. What is wrong with people, it’s disgusting.”

However, one person pointed out that the TV star has previously praised her son after the phrase from his Loose Women outburst was featured on a flag at Glastonbury festival.

Alongside a picture of the flag, she wrote in June 2016: “So proud my son Harvey’s comment to trolls and bullies has made it on a flag at Glastonbury.”
