Katie Price and son Harvey receive overwhelming support following BBC One documentary
Katie Price and her son Harvey have received overwhelming support and praise following tonight's premiere (January 25) of their new BBC documentary.
Titled Katie Price: Harvey and Me, the one-hour film follows Katie and Harvey at a crucial stage in his life, having just turned 18 and now exploring the options of further education colleges.
Harvey was born with a rare disorder that affects brain function, hormones and vision, while he also has a long list of medical and behavioural conditions that mean his future is unpredictable.
Throughout the documentary, viewers were shown the everyday challenges that Harvey faces, and how Katie cares for him.
Those watching at home were quick to praise the former Loose Women panelist for the love and care she shows her son, while also applauding the documentary for highlighting the struggles of those with complex needs.
"Katie Price is so amazing with Harvey, and the documentary really highlights the struggles for those with autism and complex needs. The support and funding just isn't there," tweeted one viewer.
Another wrote: "What a inspirational mum @KatiePrice is. Total respect to you and Harvey! Great to see what you have to cope with day in and day out! Really good awareness to people who don't know what you're going through."
"Really important documentary from @BBCOne and @KatiePrice. A must watch – challenges misconceptions and is really informative. Harvey is inspirational," added another.

I’ve always respected Katie Price because of Harvey. She clearly loves and cares about him. Because I’m not a parent, I have no idea how difficult it must be raising a child with complex needs. #HarveyAndMe
