Katie Price thanks 'great dad' Peter Andre

Katie Price is known for getting into heated rows with nearly all of her exes, but on Wednesday she posted a remarkably warm and kind post to Peter Andre, her ex-husband and father of two of her five children.

The ‘Mysterious Girl’ singer turned 46 on Wedensday, and the former glamour model wished him a ‘happy birthday’, thanking him for always being a ‘great dad’ on her Instagram Story.

She wrote: “Happy birthday to @peterandre. “Thank you for always being a great dad to Princess and Junior.”

Andre was Price’s first husband, and the couple had son, Junior, and daughter, Princess, together. It was revealed last year that the children now mainly live with Andre and his wife Emily and their two children Theo and Amelia.

Price’s well wishes comes just weeks after she made a sly dig at both Andre, and her current estranged husband Kieran Hayler, when she told Victoria Derbyshire that she hoped they would both would get behind Harvey’s Law.

This is a proposed law by Katie to make online bullying illegal and is inspired by the trolling that her 16-year-old disabled son Harvey has endured over the years.

Price implied on Derbyshire’s BBC Two show that neither of her exes had backed the intended law yet:

“This is the thing about the dad, he doesn’t see [Harvey] because he doesn’t want to know him, but even with Pete and Kieran, I wish they would back it as well,” Price said.

“The dad” being Dwight Yorke, a former professional footballer and father of Harvey, who is believed to have never played an active role in his son’s life or wellbeing.

It has of course been a turbulent past few years for Katie Price. The television personality has just been banned from driving for three months after appearing in a drunken state in her bright pink Range Rover when it crashed into a bush last October, is going through a divorce with her third husband and revealed last year that her mother Amy is terminally ill.
