Katona Splits From Husband After Arrest

Kerry Katona has ended her marriage to George Kay, just days after he was arrested on suspicion of assault and the unlawful possession of a Taser.

Her spokesman released a statement saying: "It is with deep sadness Kerry announces the end of her marriage to George Kay. Her focus now will be on her gorgeous children."

Police were called to the couple's home in Crowborough, East Sussex, on Saturday after reports a woman was assaulted.

The 35-year-old was held on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm and has been bailed until 24 October.

Sussex Police said: "A 35-year old man was arrested at the address on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm to a 35-year old woman, and of unlawful possession of a Taser.

"He was later released on police bail until 24 October while enquiries continue.

"The woman had sustained bruising to her face and arms."

The couple have been married for a year and have a one-year-old daughter called Dylan-Jorge.

They were pictured together just days before the incident at the National Reality TV Awards in London.

Katona, 35, has tweeted a photo of her five children eating dinner and wrote: "My world xxxx."
