Katy Perry announces UK Lifetimes tour and dates

Best-selling artist Katy Perry has announced five UK dates for her upcoming Lifetimes tour. So far, the nearest confirmed show to Merseyside is at Manchester's AO arena.

The Lifetimes tour follows hot on the heels of her seventh studio album, 143. Sharing the news with fans, Katy said: "Top of the morning to you, babes. I've got really big news.

"I'm bringing the Lifetimes tour to the UK. That's right. And I promise to not be such a daft cow. And I will use the right flags from now on even though this isn't the right flag for that particular thing.

"Anyways, we're coming to Glasgow, Sheffield Manchester, Birmingham, and London. I can'rt wait to have a cuppa with you. The Lifetimes tour is going to be a dance party and everyone is invited. See you there."

Katy confirmed that £1 from every ticket sold will be donated to Music Venue Trust, the UK charity which acts to protect, secure and improve UK grassroots music venues. Every £1 received from this scheme will go directly into initiatives to support the UK grassroots music community, bringing more great new music to more towns and cities.
