Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are 'engaged' after a Valentine’s Day proposal.

The singer shared a sweet picture of herself with her boyfriend on Instagram, in which her huge pink ring could clearly be seen, captioning it “full bloom” in an apparent reference to her next surname.

An array of red heart shaped balloons could be seen in the background of the snap.

The 42-year-old actor shared the same photo, captioning it: “Lifetimes.”

Perry’s mother Mary Hudson reportedly shared pictures from the pair’s Valentine’s engagement party, writing “Look who got engaged on Valentine’s Day” next to an image of the couple posing in front of a heart-shaped floral arch.

She also shared a close up of the ring, which features a striking pink stone at the centre surrounded by smaller diamonds.

Standard Online has contacted representatives for Perry and Bloom for comment.

Fans rushed to congratulate the singer, with one fan writing: “Wow! Over the moon for you both” Beautiful ring.”

“I’m so happy for you… you deserve this!!!” another wrote.

"I wish you two all the happiness in the world," one follower added.

The couple started dating in 2016, but split in March the following year, issuing a joint statement in which they said that they would be “taking respectful, loving space at this time.”

However, they soon reconciled and were confirmed to be back together at the start of 2018.

Perry was previously married to comedian Russell Brand, while Bloom shares an eight-year-old son Flynn with his ex-wife, model Miranda Kerr.
