Katy Perry is no stranger to a hair transformation. I don't know about you, but my favourite one to this day is still that blue wig circa Teenage Dream era.
Whether she's rocking a peroxide pixie cut, or golden Hollywood waves, she always inspires us to book that long-awaited hairdresser appointment.
Katy has been quiet on social media since her iconic inauguration day performance, even sharing a screenshot of her weekly screen time to show that she's been taking a much-needed break.
2 hours and 44 minutes a day... can't relate.

But the new mum is back and with her return comes a brand new hair colour and it's actually a return to the OG 'I Kissed A Girl' Katy Perry.
Yep, her dark brunette, almost black shade is back and wait until you see how damn good she looks.
The man responsible for this latest transformation is Jesus Guerrero, who actually shared an even better look at Katy's new 'do on his Instagram, with the caption "Love the dark hair".
Same Jesus, same.
But, as is the case with Hollywood, Katy posted a Instagram story late last night revealing that it's actually a wig.
I don't know about you but I was properly fooled there for a minute. That has to be one hell of an expensive wig to look so realistic.
Sharing a glimpse of the removal process, Katy can be seen talking to the camera wearing a wig cap saying "everything is fake".
That's the beauty of glam teams right, they can transform you into anything you want. We just appreciate Katy for always keeping it real with us.
Now, does anyone have a couple of thousand they can lend me to fund my own glam team?
