Katya Jones ignores Seann Walsh kiss scandal with Strictly Come Dancing rehearsal snap

Katya Jones has boldly posted a picture of Seann Walsh rehearsing the Quickstep ahead of this weekend’s Strictly Come Dancing.

The duo became one of the show’s most scandalous couples after they were pictured kissing on a boozy night out earlier this month.

But despite the drama, viewers voted to keep them in the competition after impressing the judges with their Charleston.

Katya gave fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse of their rehearsals on Wednesday, showing Walsh dancing the Quickstep with a pink guitar.

She captioned the shot: “Quickstep is going well. No guitars have been smashed yet.”

Walsh and Katya were the 5/4 favourites to be booted from the BBC ballroom show last weekend, but they managed to escape the dance-off, with Katie Piper being sent packing.

Viewers struggled to watch Saturday night’s show as Walsh and Katya danced under the watchful eye of Katya’s husband Neil Jones.

The comedian was also stood away from Katya on the opposite side of the room to her husband while contestants chatted with host Claudia Winkleman.

Neil, who is also a professional dancer, is said to believe that his wife’s cheating scandal will dash his hopes of being partnered with a celebrity on the next series.

A source told The Sun: “He feels he’s the one being punished even though he’s the innocent party in all this. He is desperate to be a lead dancer, but sadly it looks like it is doing him no favours as he feels he’s being left out.”

Katya apologised to her husband in a statement and on spin-off show It Takes Two, insisting they are “very happy” together.

Walsh was dumped by his long-term girlfriend Rebecca Humphries in a scathing Twitter statement in which she revealed she has taken full custody of their pet cat.
