Who is Keke Palmer? The Hustlers star's most memorable interviews and memes
If you found yourself wondering who, exactly, Keke Palmer is after her complete shading of former US President Dick Cheney hit the Internet, we're here with a handy dandy explainer.
The actress went viral this week when she participated in a lie detector test for Vanity Fair. In the video, she revealed that she didn't recognize Cheney at all by saying, "I hate to say it, I hope I don't sound ridiculous - I don't know who this man is. I mean, he could be walking down the street, I wouldn't know a thing," before uttering an extremely serious "Sorry to this man."
The meme in question immediately went viral, giving Mariah Carey's "I don't know her" meme serious competition.

She later talked to Andy Cohen about the viral meme on his show Watch What Happens Live.
"I was just thrown because I truly was sorry to that man. I just felt bad I didn't know who it was... after finding out who he is I'm glad I didn't know," the star said.
If you saw a picture of Keke Palmer and didn't know a thing, here's what to know about the former child actress and current Hustlers star - including some of her other entertaining moments.
Who is Keke Palmer?
Palmer started her career as a Nickelodeon star, appearing on True Jackson VP from 2009 to 2011. She went on to act in the short-lived but iconic dramedy Scream Queens. She even got a shout out in the painfully bad (but still catchy) 2012 song 'My Jeans.'
Palmer is equally charming in interviews that don't involve lie detectors - although, during one Good Morning America memorable segment, the hosts brought in her mother to play lie detector, telling the crowd if she was truthful or not.

Then there was the time she told talk show host Steve Harvey that his not having seen Titanic was "a disgrace," as well as explaining that Kate Winslet's character, Rose, could have easily shared her flotation device with Leonardo DiCaprio. "It's been hard to watch a movie of her's since," she admitted.

Of course, it all culminated with her Vanity Fair interview comments - it's already (rightfully) being hailed as the meme of the year.

what really makes the keke palmer video for me is the way she puts her hand on the picture like it's that of a dead relative as she says "sorry to this man"

Or talking about why it's a particularly moving moment (it's the gentle hand placement, obviously).
