Kelly was met with outrage when she posted what she thought was an innocent picture of her enjoying a night out.

Judging by the minute size of her waist, the photo was quite clearly Photoshopped and fans were quick to comment negatively in their droves.

One angry Instagram user commented: “Why have you edited your waist in this picture?! No need when everyone knows you’re curvy.”

While another added: “Talk about editing!!! Such a fake pathetic think to do!!!(sic)”

However, Kelly has been quick to defend herself saying that the photo was ‘realistic to her size’ and the fact her waist appeared smaller is ‘aspirational’.

“Slightly photoshopping pics is no different to women wearing fake hair, putting chicken Fillets in their bras, squeezing into Spanx or having filler and Botox in their face. None of which I do,” she wrote, adding:

“We all want to look our best in pics. So let’s all focus on the positive and be nice to each other. Having your waist smaller makes your curves bigger!!!! I love that and that’s the look I aspire too.”

And in the meantime she’s happy to fake it until she makes it.
