Kelly Brook: Why I don’t want to marry or have kids

Kelly Brook has opened about her relationship and what’s stopping her from getting married and having children.

The model, 41, has been with her boyfriend Jeremy Parisi, 35, for six years but said marriage and babies is just not on her radar.

“Marriage and children are not things I’ve wanted,” she told the Sunday People.

“It’s very hard to change your ways when you get to your forties and I don’t think it’s for everyone,” she added.

Kelly previously revealed she once popped the question to her beau while on holiday in Antigua but he declined.

When asked about reports she plans to propose again, she said: “There are constant rumours about me getting engaged or married, but no, I’ve got no plans to at the moment.”

Kelly explained she has a bucket list that includes being with her long term boyfriend and travelling, but “a wedding is not on it.”

While enjoying her freedom, she said she does not want the commitment that comes with marriage or children.

“I like travelling and being with my partner,” she said.

“I like animals, working and being independent, and I like my freedom. I like being spontaneous.

“There are so many things I love, I think marriage and children would stop me doing them.

“I try to imagine how it would be, and when you have children it’s a huge commitment.”

While marriage and having a family is not currently on the cards, Kelly suggested that she remains open to the possibility.

She said: “I’m not saying never, it’s just not on my radar. I think about it every now and again, then I quickly forget about it. I just don’t have that instinct.”

Kelly’s comments come after she featured in The Masked Dancer.

She made it to the semi-final when she was unmasked as Frog, shocking judges.
