Kelsey Grammer has revealed he would not want to take part in a possible Frasier reboot unless it involved his original co-stars.

The NBC sitcom, which starred the actor as the titular therapist Dr Frasier Crane, ran from 1993 until 2004 and spanned 11 series and 263 episodes.

Alongside Grammer, other series regulars included Jane Leeves, David Hyde Pierce, Peri Gilpin, and John Mahoney.

And, speaking at 25th Anniversary celebration of the series at the USC Comedy Festival Vol. 4 in Los Angeles on Saturday (November 3) alongside his regular co-stars (sadly minus Mahoney who died earlier this year), Grammer revealed that no plans have yet been made to reboot the series – adding that he would not consider one unless it also starred his former colleagues.

"There has been some discussions; nothing is planned," he said (via Deadline).

"There is nothing set in stone. My own personal approach to what I've discussed with other people is that I wouldn't want to do it without these guys."

Following the return of shows such as Roseanne (now The Conners) and Full(er) House, it's not surprising that Frasier fans are very excited about a revival.

Nonetheless, there are certainly some road blocks that could hinder that from happening.

Since Mahoney – who played Frasier's father Martin – passed away in February, one would assume his character would not be included in any reboot that may or may not occur.

Furthermore, Gilpin, who played Roz Doyle, has also expressed concerns about a Frasier revival, admitting earlier this year that a reboot could "harm the legacy" of the original

So, a Frasier revival could be coming. But, by the sounds of it, not anytime soon.
