Kelvin Fletcher and his wife Liz Marsland have announced that they have welcomed twins.

The Emmerdale star, 38, told fans the lovely news by sharing a sweet snap on Instagram that just showed their legs and feet.

“A gift from God,” he wrote.

“Welcome to the world my little boys.”

Liz shared a similar snap, telling fans: “They are here!! My heart is filled with so much love and gratitude.”

The couple – who are already parents to five-year-old daughter Marnie and three-year-old son Milo – had revealed in January that they were expecting two babies.

It came not long after they had moved to start a new life on a family farm in the Peak District.

Fletcher told BBC Breakfast at the time: "We just recently found out, to add another curveball if you like.

"We don't really do things by halves and then we found out we're having not just one baby, but two."

The star admitted that finding out they were having twins was “an absolute eye-opener”.

Fans rushed to congratulate the pair after the arrival of their baby boys.

“Awww beautiful!” said Emmerdale’s Natalie Anderson. “Congratulations you guys!”

The soap’s Danny Miller posted: “Congratulations my brother! Love to you all.”

Emma Atkins, best known as Charity Dingle in the soap, said she was "so excited” for the family.

“Wow,” said presenter Mike Bushell.

“Amazing news. Huge congratulations on the arrival of the twins.

“Brilliant and more hands on the farm soon.”

TV stars Stacey Dooley and Laila Rouass both posted red heart emojis in the comments section.
