Love Island's Kem Cetinay has revealed that he will be joining Dancing on Ice next month as a backstage presenter.

The reality star will be replacing Jordan Banjo, who previously held the role of a digital presenter at the backstage rink.

Kem of course competed in this year's series of the skating show, finishing in a respectable fourth place alongside partner Alex Murphy.

The ex-Islander shared the news of his new gig on his Twitter page, writing: "So excited to announce that I’ll be re joining the @dancingonice family in the new year as the Backstage Presenter.

"It’s going to be a lot fun. Bring On January."

Fans were quick to congratulate Kem on his new endeavour.

A spokesperson for the dancing show previously confirmed that Jordan Banjo has had to quit his hosting duties.

"Jordan isn't able to return due to scheduling conflicts, and the whole team at Dancing on Ice wishes him well," a Dancing on Ice representative told Digital Spy at the time.

The celebrity line-up for next year's show includes Loose Women star Saira Khan, former Westlife singer Brian McFadden, ex-Strictly Come Dancing dancer James Jordan and reality star Gemma Collins.

Dancing on Ice returns to ITV on Sunday, January 6 at 6pm.
