Over the weekend Milan Fashion Week Men's treated us to some rather fashion forward sights - from Moschino's latex creations to Marni's colour explosion - there were definitely a few unexpected surprises.

But luckily, for those of us who like a bit of familiarity,Dsquared2 was on hand to bring back a rather recognisable trend, which involved transporting us to the Wild West.

Bella Hadid opened the show donning a distressed denim shirt, red plaid jacket, buckle belt and bow - making it apparent that the Western trend was about to be at the forefront of fashion once again.

The Canadian brand proceeded to flood the runway with cowgirls and cowboys, having opted to enter the new era of co-ed shows in 2017.

Oodles of fringing, leather trousers, suede coats and cow and plaid printed shirts meant no stone was left unturned.

However, the collection still managed to exude the Western style along with a wearable rock and roll twist - perfect for the modern day.

Meanwhile, accessories went the whole-hog - each look being completed by either a cowboy hat, cowboy boots or string choker.

From rough and ready garments, the show transitioned into chic barn dance attire with Kendall Jenner closing the catwalk in a flowing boho dress paired with a gigantic fur coat.

However, the use of real fur on the catwalk sparked a backlash, due to many fashion houses including Gucci and Michael Kors having vowed to go fur-free in 2018.

So, fur aside, dig out those denim shirts and invest in a pair of cowboy boots because they're a sure way to giddy-up your get up this season.
