Kendall Jenner victim of jewellery theft just months after Kim Kardashian's Paris robbery ordeal

Kendall Jenner has become the latest celebrity burglary victim after $200,000 (£162,000) worth of jewellery was reportedly stolen from her home in Hollywood Hills on Wednesday.

The culprits allegedly broke into her residence, above the sunset strip, some time in the afternoon, walking away with a valuable amount of bling before the reality star returned home at around 8pm.

It is believed that the model didn’t notice anything suspicious until 1am on Thursday when she then contacted the police to report the stolen items – but, by that time, no suspects were found when authorities arrived at the scene.

TMZ reports that Kendall dialled 911 immediately after making the discovery because she had heard a noise and thought that the thief (or thieves) might still be present at her property.

However, law enforcement sources told the website that there are no suspects thus far, and there was no sign of forced entry at the residence.

This incident comes just a few months after her sister, Kim Kardashian-West, was robbed of $10m (£8.10m) worth of jewels during a terrifying ordeal in Paris, France’s capital.

The mum-of-two was left “badly shaken up” after burglars, dressed as police officers, “tied her up and held her at gunpoint” during Paris Fashion Week.

Kim will be seen opening up about the incident in an upcoming episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, in which she appears to blame her social media usage as the reason for the robbers knowing she was alone.

“I was Snapchatting that I was home, and that everyone was going out, so I think they knew Pascal was out with Kourtney and I was there by myself,” she explains. “They had to have known we were leaving that day. They had this window of opportunity and just went for it.”

The new KUWTK series begins in the UK on E! on March 19, but episode one is available to stream now with on demand service Hayu. Episode two airs on March 26 on on E!, and will be available on Hayu from March 20.
