In an interview with US Vogue, Kendall – who became a celebrity through her family’s popular E! show – said modelling is now her main priority and “career” and she envisions matching the 50-year-old star’s fame and achievments on the catwalk.

She said: “This is a career - I want this to last for a long time.

“I want this to be like a Cindy Crawford thing: I want it to last until I am her age. That’s why I love her so much and why I look up to her: Her life now is something that I want my life to be like.”

Cindy has walked the catwalk for the likes of Chanel, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Christian Dior, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren.

Her brunette mane, perfect features and beauty spot perched above her mouth became her signature look and in her three decade career, she’s forayed into the world of acting and been a beauty brand ambassador. At the pinnacle of her success, she was named the world’s highest paid model by Forbes.

And Kendall admitted she’ll “venture” into projects, but she wants to be known as a model by trade.

And the star says she’s always felt “different” from her famous sisters, including older siblings Kourtney, Kim and Khloé Kardashian and younger sister Kylie Jenner.

She revealed: “I’ve always been super different from all my sisters, especially my Kardashian sisters. They’ve always been into the glam thing and dressing up every day and being in the thick of it. Part of me loves that, but at the same time, I love dressing down and having my private life.

“The second that I feel it getting the better of me, I have to go chill myself out—go take a bath or something to, like, disconnect from it. It keeps you real and sane and humble.”
