Kendall Jenner's ex-boyfriend's sister Olivia Simmons accused of 'slut shaming' her on Twitter

Kendall Jenner’s very private love life is now a topic of debate on Twitter. Given she's a member of America's reality royal family it's a given that the supermodel’s romantic interests would be held under a microscope, but this week Jenner has been the target of an apparent “slut-shaming” on Twitter.

Earlier this week, a tweet showing five pictures of NBA players went viral. The tweet’s caption read “Starting 5 of NBA Players Kendall Jenner Dated,” implying the reality star had been romantically involved with players from five different NBA teams.

One of the players was Kyle Kuzma from the L.A. Lakers, who Jenner reportedly spent Fourth of July with on board a yacht. Another was Philadelphia 76ers player Ben Simmons, who Jenner allegedly split from earlier this year.

Jenner quickly stood up for herself, tweeting back, “2 out of 5 accurate, thanks.” Unfortunately, her defense didn’t stop the haters.

Following the release of the Fourth of July yacht photos, Simmons’ sister Olivia Tweeted, “I just wouldn’t ever wanna be known for dating athletes. Like imagine working your way through a league. Not a team a LEAGUE!” followed by “I’d rather be crazy than be a hoe.”

Though the tweet doesn’t call out Jenner specifically, it seems to point to her alleged relationships with NBA players.

Jenner’s fans flocked to her rescue, tweeting in her defence at Olivia Simmons. Olivia clapped back saying, “I didn’t say any names but if the shoes fits WEAR IT.” She responded to another Jenner-defender with, “Don’t make me start stating facts. Y’all wont like that very much.”

Fans of Jenner are referring to the situation as “slut-shaming" and questioning why, in 2019, the number of men Kendall has dated should still be an issue.
