As Halloween approaches, it’s the perfect time to explore the darker corners of the Kent where ghostly legends and spectral sightings linger in the shadows. From misty moors to ancient graveyards and haunted pubs, every county has its share of spooky tales.

But here in Kent we have our very own haunting stories - so much so we've even been named as among the most haunted in the UK. Using data from the Paranormal Database and cemetery records from FindAGrave.com, Slotswise.com uncovered the UK’s most haunted hotspots - and Kent is one of them.

By adding the total number of haunted locations and cemeteries in each county together, Slotswise determined the ‘Total Haunt Score’ for each county. Kent has 343 locations which are supposedly haunted.
