Kent Police release e-fit after cyclist is 'threatened' by two men

Police investigating the attempted theft of a bike in Hadlow have released an e-fit image of a suspect. It is alleged a man who was cycling in Court Lane between 7.20pm and 7.45pm on Sunday, April 21 was approached by two men who attempted to steal his bike.

The suspects reportedly blocked the cyclist from leaving the area, while making threats towards him. Both are described as white with a tanned complexion, of slim build and around 16 years old.

One suspect was around five feet tall, and the other was between five and a half feet tall to six feet tall. They were wearing black jogging bottoms and a sweater and had a skinny white dog with them. Police said they referenced Yalding several times and it is believed they may have been heading towards that area.

Police say they are now in a position to release an e-fit image of one of the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call Kent Police on 01622 604100 quoting reference 46/65297/24. You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111, or by using the online form on their website.
