A CCTV image of a missing teenage boy from Medway has been released by Kent Police as officers continue to search wooded areas close to where he vanished. James Gibbons was last seen in the village of Cuxton shortly before 1pm on Saturday, November 9.

The 16-year-old is described as being around 5ft 11ins with brown hair. He also wears braces on his teeth and has a scar on the right-hand side of the back of his head, that is described as being similar in shape to a question mark. James is believed to have been wearing brown tracksuit bottoms, a grey Hollister hooded pullover, a white shirt with a light brown/blue chequered pattern, black socks and black material trainers.

"We are also searching rural and wooded areas around Cuxton and are asking dog walkers, hikers and horse riders to look out for James or consider if they may have seen him."
