Kent teenager is 'found with angle grinder, bolt croppers and balaclava'
A balaclava, angle grinder and bolt croppers have been seized by officers who arrested a suspect within minutes of a burglary in Maidstone. Patrols were called just before 1am on Monday, January 6, to suspicious activity in Lambert Drive where damage had been caused to an entrance of a bike storage container.
Police searched nearby areas, and at 1.10am a 17-year-old boy was stopped in Sutton Road. A balaclava was seized from his pocket, and he was also carrying a rucksack which contained several tools, according to Kent Police.
The suspect was detained in connection with offences including burglary and going equipped for theft. He is currently bailed with conditions pending further enquiries.
