Johnny Depp presented band mate Joe Perry with the Inspiration Award as Foo Fighters won big at Thursday night's Kerrang! Awards 2018.

The American actor took to the stage at the Islington Assembly Hall to honour Aerosmith superstar Perry with the prestigious award.

The duo recently performed at Wembley Arena as part of Alice Cooper’s super-group, Hollywood Vampires.

American rock sensations Foo Fighters bagged both Best International Live Act and Best International Band following latest their 2017 release of Concrete and Gold.

Scottish rock group Biffy Clyro bagged the Best British Band gong over the likes of Royal Blood and Iron Maiden.

Alternative rockers Enter Shikari made sure they had made their mark on the industry after bagging Best Album.

Elsewhere, Tony Iommi walked away with Kerrang! icon and Slipknot and Stone Sour's Corey Taylor was crowned Kerrang! legend.

Best British Live Act went to Architects while Dream State won Best British Breakthrough with Code Orange winning the International counterpart.

Neck Deep's In Bloom was awarded Best Song.
