Kerry Katona became embroiled in a furious argument live on breakfast TV after a guest brought up her work on OnlyFans.

The 40-year-old mother-of-five appeared on Good Morning Britain to debate the sale of padded bikinis aimed at nine-year-old girls with Real Housewives Of Jersey star Tessa Hartmann.

Presenter Richard Madeley had to intervene as Katona began shouting angrily in response to the reality star commenting: "But it's okay for your teenage daughter to take the photos of your naked pictures to put on a social media site?"

Katona fumed at Hartmann: "First of all, darling, OnlyFans is for over-18s, it is not for nine-year-old children, and my children do not take pictures of me naked so whatever you read there you've got it wrong.

"My children take photos of me in a bikini or my underwear, I'm a 40-year-old woman.

"Second of all when I go on holiday to a resort I'm not going to put my child in a bikini bra that is sexualising them, without knowing who is watching them.

"It's like dangling a carrot in front of a paedophile."

As the two guests raised their voices and talked over one another Madeley called: "Whoa! Hang on – time, guys!"

Katona is mother to Molly, 19, and Lilly-Sue, 18, from her marriage to Westlife’s Brian McFadden; Heidi, 14, and Max, 13, with second husband Mark Croft; and Dylan-Jorge, seven, with her late third husband George Kay.

She was on the show to discuss the sale of padded bikinis by high-street clothing retailer New Look in the 9-15 age range – which she argued was inappropriately sexualising young girls and increasing the likelihood of body insecurity.

Mother-of-four Hartmann, 51, argued that the padding could give young girls comfort by protecting their modesty.

Former Atomic Kitten singer Katona told Closer magazine earlier this year that her daughter Heidi often takes glamour shots of her in swimwear or lingerie to post on adult-only pay-to-view site OnlyFans.

She said: "My children know I do it and Heidi even takes some of the pictures of me for the site.

"I say, 'What's the difference between me getting papped topless on a beach or going topless on a site I'm in control of?'

"It's changed my life financially and it's made me feel empowered... My kids are fine with it – they're loving the money!"
