Kerry Katona moves to house with safe room after series of burglaries

Kerry Katona has moved for the third time in three years, to a house with a safe room after being plagued by burglaries.

The 41-year-old former Atomic Kitten star and mother-of-five relocated in June after having her car stolen from outside her home, and has now moved to a lavish new mansion which she showed off to fans on YouTube.

Katona said: "Another house move. As you all know, I had my car stolen and we've not been able to settle.

"Now we're moving, but not too far away. I'm not going to say where we're going or where I'm living but we're moving again."

She added: "Three houses in three years, and we'll probably be here for a while, until we move to Spain."

As the reality star toured the house with daughters Heidi, 15, and Dylan-Jorge, eight, they pointed out a cinema room, gym and multiple reception rooms.

Looking at the thick metal door in the master bedroom Heidi asked: "Why's it so.... Is it a safe room?"

Katona replied: "Yeah."

Youngest daughter Dylan-Jorge exclaimed: "Look at the garden! It's massive!"

Katona then toured the spacious grounds with her daughters but told Heidi they would not be getting a swimming pool.

The singer revealed in March that she hopes to move to Spain in a year's time.

She said: "We will start looking at schools soon to get an idea of what we’re getting into.

"So much of my work is online now, so it does make sense to think about a new start.

The former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! winner rose to fame as one of the original members of girlband Atomic Kitten, formed in 1998 and originally named Automatic Kitten. But this was changed to Atomic Kitten as Katona's mother struggled to remember the correct band name and kept calling them Atomic Kitten instead.

The singer is mother to daughters Molly, 21, and Lilly, 19, from her marriage to Brian McFadden, as well as daughter Heidi, 15, and son Max, 14, from her second marriage to Mark Croft. She also has eight-year-old daughter Dylan-Jorge from her relationship with late husband George Kay.

Katona is engaged to personal trainer Ryan Mahoney, who she met on dating app Bumble in 2018. He proposed in August 2020.
