Kevin de Bruyne named as Barcelona 'dream' as Man City face Chelsea competition for midfielder
Barcelona's teenage sensation Lamine Yamal has revealed he would love to play with Kevin de Bruyne at some point in his career - as the midfielder enters the final months of his Manchester City contract.
The 33-year-old, who has won six Premier League titles since moving to the Etihad in 2015, was linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League in the summer as July saw him enter the final 12 months of his current deal.
However, after City's recent 3-1 win over West Ham United last month, De Bruyne set the record straight on the summer rumours surrounding his future at the club.

"I haven't spoken to anyone, to be honest," he said. "There has been a lot of noise and news. I said in the summer I expected a quiet summer and that's actually what happened. I've been on holiday for four weeks, came back and started training.
"That was it. Nothing to tell. I've not been entertained by anybody or spoken to anybody. I wanted to chill out, but nothing came, so I came back and trained."
But despite revealing that he has yet to begin talks with City over possibly extending his stay at the club, De Bruyne admitted that he expects to hold talks with the club's chiefs as the season progresses.
"I just want to start well and play football. Once the season goes on, I'm sure there will be conversations to be had with City," added De Bruyne. "It was the transfer market, I don't want to be busy with that. I just want to feel good, play good football and this will come in the upcoming months. I don't really feel the rush for the moment.
"I don't really know [what is important in contract talks]. Family is obviously an important factor whatever happens. When you talk to people you have to make a decision. It's very hard to talk hypothetically because obviously there are things you want as a family, as a person, as a project. But when I don't know anything there's not a lot I can say."
And given that De Bruyne's future is clearly still very much in the air, it is no wonder Yamal has appeared to lay the charm offensive on the Manchester City and Belgian maestro.
Meanwhile, Give Me Sport claim City are keeping close tabs on Sunderland and England youth international Chris Rigg.
Rigg, 17, has made 30 appearances for the Black Cats who are flying high in the Championship this season, with Liverpool and Chelsea also linked with the midfielder.
