Kevin Hart has revealed his interest in rebooting yet another Robin Williams classic: Mrs Doubtfire.

The actor stars in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle alongside Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas and Jack Black.

The movie is a rebooted tribute to the 1995 film and while paying tribute to the original movie and Williams' character Alan Parrish following the actor's death in 2014, manages to branch out successfully on its own.

It managed that by rejigging a few aspects, like setting the movie in a video game instead of a board game.

And next up, audiences could be in store for a throughly modern Mrs Doubtfire, starring none other than Kevin Hart.

"I'll stay on the Robin Williams train and say that if I could jump into Mrs. Doubtfire," he told CinemaBlend.

"That was a very amazing performance on both ends for him. I think that's one I'd love to get to play in."

Mrs Doubtfire was released in 1993. It follows divorced father Daniel Hillard, who dresses as an older British woman and convinces his ex-wife, Miranda to hire him as a nanny so he can visit his children.

Like Jumanji, several elements of the original movie could be reworked for modern times; with the social media age serving as great setting for a Mrs Doubtfire remake to spring off.

Who doesn't want to see Mrs Doubtfire setting up her own Twitter and Pinterest pages? We do.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is in cinemas December 20.
