A KFC in Devon has welcomed back customers today after being closed for a makeover. The new look restaurant has reopened following its closure in October.

Work has been done to spruce up the front of house and there have also been improvements to staff areas behind. The new and improved branch in Queen Street was closed three and a half weeks ago.

It reopened on Monday [November 4]. The last time the fast food restaurant in the town centre was given a makeover was back in 2014.

The tired-looking appearance has now been updated with modern signage and lighting. The refurbishment also includes new touch screen self-order pads and improvements to the facade.

The company thanked it's "loyal fans" for being patient while the work was completed.
