Khloé Kardashian clapped back at those accusing her of not social distancing at Scott Disick’s birthday party

Khloé Kardashian is rarely afraid to speak her mind on social media, especially when it comes to defending her loved ones. So when a few people arrived to her comments section on Instagram to call her out for seemingly going against social distancing guidelines at Scott Disick’s birthday party, she was not having it.

Disick celebrated his 37th birthday on May 26th, and it seems the Kardashian-Jenner crew threw a party at home amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The family shared some snippets of the party on Instagram Stories, with Kardashian sharing a photo of daughter True having fun outside. But as The Daily Mail reported, it seems the mom-of-one anticipated trolls coming out of the woodwork to comment on the gathering—she reportedly captioned the since-expired shot, “Stay safe! Stay smart! Reminder, to keep gatherings small. 10 people maximum.”

That didn’t stop some commenters from calling her out for not adequately social distancing, but Kardashian quickly shut it all down.

Per The Mail, she reportedly responded by saying, “we know how they have been quarantined and there’s less than 10 people with us. It’s literally what the governor states is perfectly OK to do in the state of CA.”

It’s true that current California guidelines prohibit “mass gatherings,” and it seems Kardashian was simply trying to point out the facts to those getting on her case. In another comment, she reportedly wrote that she was “not even trying to be rude,” adding, “Drives me wild when people act as if they know. Of course we want to protect ourselves. Simply for the sake of our angels, not to mention our own health. But it’s human nature I guess.”

Here’s hoping Disick had a great time at his shindig surrounded by (a few of) his nearest and dearest.
