Khloe Kardashian received an outpouring of support after Tristan Thompson cheated on her – but now fans have blasted the reality star for promoting controversial detox teas.

Kardashian, 34, came under fire after she posted a picture of her flat stomach on Instagram and credited diet brand Flat Tummy Co with helping her lose weight.

She wrote: “#ad Loving how my tummy looks right now you guys! I brought @flattummyco’s meal replacement shakes into my routine about 2 weeks ago, and the progress is undeniable.

“P.S the shakes are 20% off today and you can get Flat Tummy Tea at a really good deal too. Go check it out!”

Kardashian, who has 11-month-old daughter True, was branded “toxic” by fans who begged her to “STOP promoting this garbage” over fears it could be “damaging” to her young followers.

“You’re lying more than @realtristan13 on this post,” posted one.

Another wrote: “Khloe, no! Be a better example, please!”

A third commented: “Makes me sad that you are promoting this You got your figure through hard work, not an easy fix.”

Another exasperated fan wrote: “Khloe, girl. I know you’ve had a rough go but c’mon. You’re better than this.”

Jameela Jamil also waded in, blaming the media for Kardashian’s ‘fixation’ on appearance before begging her to “not hurt other girls” in the same way.

“It’s incredibly awful that this industry bullied you until you became this fixated on your appearance,” she wrote. “That’s the media’s fault. But now please don’t put that back into the world, and hurt other girls, the way you have been hurt. You’re a smart woman. Be smarter than this.”

Jamil last year took aim at Khloe’s sister Kim Kardashian, branding her “broken” for constantly trying to “fix” her appearance after she promoted Flat Tummy Co’s appetite suppressant lollipops.
