Khloé Kardashian is spilling her anti-aging secrets, and an $8 drugstore staple is at the top of her list.

In a new Hot Ones video posted on Thursday, the reality TV star revealed to host Sean Evans that Eucerin's Aquaphor Healing Ointment has become a fixture in her nightly skincare routine.

"I think Aquaphor is great," the 37-year-old told Evans between hot wing tastings. "I wear Aquaphor or Vaseline around my eyes every night. I think it helps with wrinkles and all that. [It's] really inexpensive and easy."

"The Kardashians" star also noted that consistency is the most important practice in any skincare routine.

"I think whatever you do, just be consistent with it," she said. "Always wear an SPF. Those are like really simple things but always wear sunscreen. Always."

The details

Eucerin's Aquaphor Healing Ointment is a dermatologist-recommended balm designed to soothe and restore dry and cracked skin.

The multipurpose ointment forms a semi-permeable, protective barrier over the skin, making it perfect for chapped lips, cracked cuticles, and dry feet and hands.

It contains glycerin to moisturize and replenish the skin's moisture barrier and panthenol to promote skin regeneration and repair. Aquaphor is non-comedogenic, fragrance-free, and hypoallergenic. Plus, its dermatologist-recommended formula is gentle enough to use on babies.

What people are saying

Alongside Khloé Kardashian, Aquaphor has become a fan-favourite among Amazon shoppers, earning an average rating of 4.6 stars from more than 3,000 reviews.

Aquaphor "literally changed my life," writes one reviewer. The shopper who says they have an "extreme case of dermatitis," says the healing ointment is the "best purchase" for their dry skin, adding that they "barely ever have [skin] cracks" anymore.

Another shopper says the $8 ointment is their "holy grail" product. Aquaphor "actually absorbs" and "penetrates" the skin, helping to moisturize and heal, they write. It helps "so much" with dry skin pain.

It's "amazing," echos a third shopper, who says the product "completely cleared" their eczema.

While Aquaphor has more than 2,300 five-star reviews singing its praises, some shoppers say it left their hands feeling "greasy."

Its "coats your fingers" and "doesn't absorb fast [enough]," according to one reviewer.

The verdict

A skincare staple for Khloé Kardashian and thousands of Amazon shoppers, Aquaphor is a must-have buy for dry, aging skin. However, despite its Kardashian seal of approval, some reviewers call the $8 multipurpose ointment "greasy" — something to keep in mind when heading to checkout.
