'Kill the Bill': Crowds in London Rally Against Anti-Protest Bill

Demonstrators filled London’s Parliament Square on March 15 to rally against a government-backed bill that would grant police more power to impose conditions on protests.

Criticism of the bill has been widespread among opposition MPs and protesters since police were accused of using aggressive tactics to disperse a crowd at a vigil for Sarah Everard, on March 13.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he was “deeply concerned" about reports from the vigil, where four people were arrested and one woman was pinned to the ground by police.
