Kim Cattrall rules out Sex and the City reunion for good

Kim Cattrall vowed she will “never” return to Sex and the City, as she took a fresh swipe at former co-star Sarah Jessica Parker.

Cattrall, 62, who played PR mogul Samantha Jones in the HBO series, confirmed she had cut her ties with the franchise amid an ongoing feud with Parker.

Asked if she would return for a third movie instalment, Kim told the Daily Mail: "Never. It's a no from me."

“You learn lessons in life and my lesson is to do work with good people and try and make it fun,” she added.

Parker, 54, insisted last year that there had never been a “catfight” between the pair, and that she had “always held Kim’s work in high regard.”

But Cattrall claimed she had a “toxic relationship” with the other stars on set and in an interview with Piers Morgan said she felt the 54-year-old could have been “nicer”.

She later accused the Carrie Bradshaw actress of “exploiting” the sudden death of her brother Chris Cattrall to “restore [her] ‘nice girl’ persona” after she sent her condolences in the wake of the tragic news.

Responding to Parker’s well-wishes in February 2018, Cattrall wrote on Instagram: “Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now.

“Let me make this VERY clear. You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I am writing to you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona.”

The 62-year-old previously hit back at suggestions her demands for cash had stalled the third film, insisting she said no when first approached.

In a Twitter post in September 2017, Cattrall wrote: “The only 'DEMAND' I ever made was that I didn't want to do a 3rd film... and that was back in 2016."
