Kim Ellis appears to be the winner of commission seat for Coffee County District 2

COFFEE COUNTY, Ala (WDHN) — The commission race for Coffee County District 2 appears to have a winner.

Kim Ellis ended Super Tuesday with 469 votes, and Todd Clark ended with 425.

It is a close race, but officials in Coffee County tell WDHN there are only 25 provisional ballots still to be counted.

However, the difference between the two is 44. This means if Clark got all 25 provisional votes, there still wouldn’t be enough to catch Ellis.
