Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's fans finally get to see what really happened during the couple's multi-million pound wedding.

The reality television star and rapper tied the knot in a private ceremony in the Italian city of Florence on Saturday.

Screaming fans flocked to the 16th century Fort Belvedere as hundreds of friends and family gathered for the extravagant wedding party.

One of the photos, obtained by E! News , shows the couple sharing a kiss in front of a wall covered in white flowers.

Many candid shots from the party were put on Twitter and Instagram by the couple's guests but these are the first official photos to be released.

Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli sang Con Te Partiro as 1970s US Olympic star Bruce Jenner - Kim's stepfather - walked the bride down the aisle, People magazine reported.

Kim's mother Kris and sisters Khloe and Kourtney were at the event, as well as the couple's 11-month-old daughter North West.

Another of the photos shows the couple walking down the aisle after saying their vows, with baby North seen in the background being held by her grandmother Kris.

Kardashian, 33, wore a white, lace Givenchy Haute Couture gown for what was her third wedding ceremony.

The newlyweds are said to be on honeymoon in Ireland, staying in a luxury rural estate in Cork.

Tourism Ireland, which is tasked with marketing Ireland abroad, was planning on capitalising on the publicity of having the world's most famous newlyweds in the country.

Kardashian and West are expected to remain in the country until Friday before jetting back to the United States.

West, 36, will return in July to play a concert at Dublin's Marlay Park.
