It’s been an incredibly dramatic few days in Kardashian-land, with reports that the youngest sister, Kylie Jenner, is pregnant causing a social media storm on Friday.
TMZ have claimed that the 20-year-old beauty guru is expecting her first baby with rapper boyfriend Travis Scott, and the famous family are still refusing to confirm or deny the speculation.
However, Kylie’s big sister, Kim Kardashian, has hit back at the rumours that have emerged since the pregnancy news broke, namely that she wasn’t happy to learn about Kylie’s happy news.
A source told People magazine: “Her first reaction was, ‘Seriously?’ She didn’t respond well at first.
“It’s like she and Kanye had gone on this whole journey to get pregnant for months, and now this happens to Kylie. She teared up. It definitely took a lot of time for her to process it.”
Harpers Bazaar tweeted an article about Kim’s response to her little sister’s pregnancy alongside the caption: “This sounds like a very awkward conversation”, which Kim immediately retweeted and clapped back: “This sounds like a very fake story…”
Kim followed up by refuting the media’s recent claims that Kylie’s dad, Caitlyn Jenner, had let the cat out of the bag and confirmed the pregnancy, with Caitlyn’s rep allegedly telling The Sun that Cait had found out about the news a few months ago – not online as had been claimed.
Kim tweeted: “And speaking of fake stories… The media is super shady for posting fake quotes from Caitlyn when she hasn’t spoke to anyone”.
The reality star is thought to be expecting her third child with husband Kanye West via surrogate early next year, with the pair already mum and dad to four-year-old North and 21-month-old Saint.
Her Twitter activity came shortly before it was reported that her other sister, Khloe, is pregnant with her first baby with boyfriend Tristan Thompson, although these reports are also unconfirmed.
