Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had a very awkward PDA moment at a basketball game

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West aren't really known for their public displays of affection, and we can kind of see why judging by this pretty painful moment that was caught on camera over the weekend.

The famous couple attended an NBA All-Star game in Chicago on Sunday and, during the game, the cameras zoomed in on the pair in their court-side seats.

First, Kim blew a series of kisses before she turned to the rapper and lent in to give him a kiss on his cheek - but Kanye didn't return the gesture and instead chose to simply grin at the camera.

While it definitely looked like poor Kim was just left hanging, we're not entirely sure Kanye even realised she was going in for kiss.

"Kim trying to get kisses from Kanye is the cutest thing ever it hurts," one person tweeted after seeing the clip.

"I don’t think he was paying attention lol y’all make something out of anything," a second pointed out.

Kim, who has been married to Kanye for more than five years, recently opened up about their relationship to New York Magazine.

"The one consistent thing is our relationship has never stopped being fun," she said. "And it’s okay to not understand each other. It’s okay to not have the same exact feelings all the time. It’s just about figuring out how do we grow from that? Or what’s the lesson from that? and giving each other space and time to figure that out."
