Kim Kardashian ‘laying by Kanye West’s side and helping to feed him’ during hospitalisation

Kanye West was rushed to the UCLA Medical Center on Monday after suffering a “psychotic breakdown,” and now it’s been reported that his wife Kim Kardashian has been by his side, every step of the way.

In her attempts to nurse him back to health, the reality star has allegedly been sleeping by her husband’s side and helping to feed him while he undergoes treatment for a “combination” of health problems including “stress, anxiety and paranoia.”

“Kim has been amazing,” a source close to the rapper told US Weekly. “She knew he couldn’t keep going the way he was. She’s been by his side through all of this, helping to feed him and laying by his side.”

It is believed that the 36-year-old even spent Thanksgiving in the hospital with Kanye, only leaving to see their children North, three, and 11-month-old Saint who are unaware of their father’s current condition, according to E! News.

“Kim wouldn’t leave his side except to see the kids,” the insider continued. “She’s been at the hospital all the time. Kim has been keeping a very close watch on him and not letting people disturb him.

“All kinds of people have called and sent flowers, but she’s being very careful about not letting him get wound up and making sure he rests and recovers.”

Reflecting on a similar incident whereby Khloe Kardashian stuck by her ex Lamar Odom’s side after he suffered a near fatal overdose last year, the source then added: “All the Kardashian women stick by their men.”

Kanye is said to have been taken to hospital “for his own health and safety” after suffering from “severe sleep deprivation” which led to the cancellation of his Saint Pablo Tour.

Sharing an update on his condition last week, a source told Entertainment Tonight: “He just needed some rest. [Kim] is currently with Kanye right now at his side. Kim feels more connected to Kanye than ever. Their marriage is doing great.”
