The 18th season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians went down in KUWTK history as one of the most dramatic premieres ever after Kim and Kourtney Kardashian got into an actual physical fight, which involved a flying water bottle, kicking and scratching.

Opening up about what happened after the cameras stopped rolling, Kim has now admitted it was even worse than what we saw on our TV screens. Appearing on The Tonight Show: Home Edition on Monday, Kim revealed Kourtney made her bleed when she scratched her.

"I don't really ever resort to violence like that," Kim said. "But she scratched me so hard, you couldn't see, I had like - I was bleeding. And so you didn't really get see that detail."

The KUWTK star continued: "When I looked down at my arm and saw she had had really scratched me and I felt it all on my back, I just, you know, went over and slapped her back," she said. "It's not like my proudest moment but we were going through it."

Kim also revealed that cameras stopped rolling for an entire week after the pair's fight.

"We shut down production for a week after that," she said before adding, "I think everyone was really shook for a minute and just was like, 'this isn't like our type of show.' Like, what's happening? We want everyone to be comfortable and safe."

Kim confirmed to Jimmy Fallon that Kourtney did eventually make the decision to take the time off, adding: "I think she really needs it."

It comes just days after Kourtney clapped back at a fan who told her she needs to quit the show.

In another scene from the premiere, Khloe pointed out: "She [Kourtney] could've made the decision to quit, she chose to not quit. But she's here today, exactly where we left off. It's affecting my mood that she's so miserable that we're here doing our job - that she has agreed to."

And Kourt's decision to stay on the show despite being unhappy led some viewers to question why she was still filming.

"No she gotta go. It’s exhausting to watch," one KUWTK fan wrote. While a second tweeted: "@kourtneykardash just needs to quit the damn show! I’m over her not wanting to film. #KUWTK."

But Kourtney was clearly creeping on Twitter because she quickly clapped back: "I did. Bye."

Keeping up with The Kardashians, S18 will air on Hayu from 27 March and from 29 March on E!
