Kim Kardashian West accidentally confirms she is having a baby girl

They are already parents to daughter North, four, and son Saint, 23 months, but there is no stopping the Kardashian-West klan from getting bigger – with a little girl on the way.

Kim Kardashian West has confirmed her and rapper husband Kanye West‘s surrogate is carrying a baby daughter for the excited pair.

The 37-year-old star was speaking to chat show host Ellen DeGeneres about her recent baby shower gifts when she let slip North is excited about having a little sister.

Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she said: “My daughter is really tricky. We had a baby shower over the weekend, I wanted her to feel something is coming and for her to understand it.

“People brought toys and gifts and [North] was opening them all up the next day and she said, ‘Mom, since baby sister’s not here, I think I need all of her toys in my room and I’ll play with them and just make sure they’re all OK for baby sister.’ ”

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is hopeful North’s excitement will last when her third child arrives, and admitted her eldest is looking forward to having another girl in the house.

She said: “North is really excited about that. [Having a brother] was a little trickier, so she’s excited.

“Let’s see if it lasts. I explained to her, ‘Four in the morning, when you come in my room, I’ll be with baby sister, I have to feed her’, so we’ll see how it goes.”

But the showbiz power couple cannot come up with a moniker for their impending arrival – and even asked for help from their baby shower guests.

She added: “We don’t have a name. At the baby shower I was like, ‘I don’t want to play any games, measuring the belly, that won’t work out this time. I just want everyone to write a name on a little tile and we’ll see if something sticks.’

“We’re freaking out. We have no name.”

But if North had her way then her baby sister would be called Star, and while her famous mother is not quite as keen, the name does fit her criteria for a moniker.

She said: “I’m not gonna name her Star, but my daughter picks that name all the time. She’s got a toy, it’s a momma and she likes to name the toys.

“I said, ‘What do you wanna name it?’ and she said, ‘Star. Star West.’ She names everything Star. I’m not vibing on it.

“It’s so hard. I like different names, short, easy to spell, one syllable, that’s my vibe.”

Kim could soon be taking her little ones up to space if her mother Kris Jenner gets her way as the showbiz matriarch is said to be keen to leave Earth to film an episode of KUWTK.

An insider close to Kris told heat magazine: “Kris is fascinated by outer space, and is looking into paying for her and the family to be among the first passengers on Virgin’s commercial space shuttle.

“Kris just signed a $150 million deal that will keep their reality show until the end of 2019. The pressure is on to keep things exciting, and what better way than by filming an episode in space?”
