Kim Kardashian West's private jet searched by immigration at LAX

It has been reported that Kim Kardashian West’s jet was searched by immigration officials at Los Angeles Airport last night, amid Donald Trump’s controversial travel ban policy and heightened visa checks.

The reality TV stars – including momanager Kris Jenner, 61, sisters Kourtney, 37, Khloe, 34, 19-year-old Kylie and her boyfriend Tyga with his four-year-old son King Cairo – were photographed being escorted off their plane on the runway at LAX after they landed, following a four-day vacation to Costa Rica.

The social-media megastar’s private jet was boarded by customs and immigration officials wearing black bomber jackets, who scoured the plane – which resembles the one pictured below on a previous trip – for any hints of criminality.

All of the family were spoken to by border patrol, according to The Sun newspaper.

It seems the Kardashians and Jenners were searched under the new US President’s controversial policy, despite Costa Rica not being on the list of seven countries which he has banned Muslim refugees and immigrants from.

The famous clan are fourth-generation immigrants from Armenia, and Khloe recently responded to the immigrant ban on Twitter, writing, “All of this in the news today breaks my heart.’

Customs and Border Protection officers can legally search all items being brought into the country.
