Kimberley says Cheryl’s going to be a great mum!

Wait, has Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s ex-bandmate Kimberley Walsh just confirmed what we’re all thinking?!

Erm, well, probably not… but Cheryl’s Girls Aloud pal Kim has spectacularly waded into the ongoing ‘is she or isn’t she?’ drama by telling the world that the former X-Factor judge “will be a brilliant mum.”

That’s “will”, by the way. Not “would” or “could” or “definitely won’t”. Which is about as close to proof as an Instagram photo of a positive home pregnancy test, right?

“She’s really happy right now,” Kim cooed. “And she’ll be a brilliant mum. She has loads of nieces and nephews, so she’s used to the madness of children. Both she and Nicola are naturally good with kids.”

In an interview with the Sunday Express, 34-year-old Kimberley, who’s currently expecting baby number two with hubby Justin Scott, also said she’s happy her former bandmate has hooked up with Liam Payne.

“Yes, I’m really happy that she’s happy,” she said. “I don’t really want to go into too much detail on that because I feel that it’s something that she should speak about, but to know she’s happy makes me happy.

“We’ve all been for dinner and obviously hang out together, which is really nice.”

Hmmm…a celebration dinner, Kimberley? Anyway, if Cheryl does turn out to have a bun in the oven, and least Kimberley will only be a phone call away if she needs a bit of advice.

“Being pregnant heightens everything – all your hormones are running wild,” she explains. “People used to say that I could keep it together quite well in a calm way, but I think motherhood unlocks something in you and now I’m just an emotional wreck!”
