Kimora Lee Simmons posts photos of her various fashion projects, her adorable children, and even some inspiring quote messages on her Instagram channel.

The 42-year-old designer and mother of four recently shared snaps of her 17-year-old daughter Ming‘s junior prom look, which she designed.

“We made this champagne silk slip dress for the beautiful @mingleesimmons. It’s called the ‘ming ming.’ It’s in my latest collection.. #prom17,” she posted alongside a photo of Ming posing in the glamorous silk gown.

This isn’t the first time her daughter has been spotted in one of her designs. Ming and her sister, Aoki Simmons, modeled in the look-book for their mother’s Resort 2017 collection.

Both of Ming’s parents were in attendance on prom night. Simmons shared a short video of her daughter and ex-husband, Russell Simmons, before the dance.

“You all KNOW I’ve been crying my eyes out right?! I asked if her dad could drive her! She said ‘NO MAMA,'” she captioned the clip, expressing her emotional attitude during the night. Her sister expressed similar sentiments, writing, “I’m my sister’s biggest hype man I’ll hype her up any day! Love them both so much!! #cametoslay #killedprom #toocoolforschool,” alongside a photo of Ming with her date.

The proud mother also shared images of her high school student posing with her date for the dance.

Ming’s younger brother, Kenzo Lee Hounsou, hugged her in a sweet snap.

“Kenzo Lee actually said ‘I want to go to prom with ming!'” Simmons captured the shot of the siblings. Ming shared a number of images on her own account as well, tagging her mother in the photos.

She also showed off the tag on the inside of the dress next to some photo booth snaps with her date.

She thanked her mother for the unique dress in the caption of the shot. Many Twitter users were shocked by how fast Ming had grown up, having appeared in the reality series Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane throughout much of her adolescence.

It appears Ming had a great time at prom.
