King Charles and Prince Harry are set to miss out on a reunion due to 'geographical challenges'. King Charles and Prince Harry are unlikely to see each other in the UK this week due to the geographical challenges of arranging a meeting.

Harry arrives in the UK for the WellChild awards in London tomorrow and is staying just a stone's throw from Buckingham Palace tonight. Charles, meanwhile, is enjoying time at Balmoral following his attendance at the 25th anniversary of the Scottish Parliament yesterday.

But a Royal Family insider says that the WellChild event will be his only engagement in the UK, and his father is expected to remain up north. "Harry's only engagement in the UK is for the WellChild awards," the source confirmed today (September 29).

An insider said: "There are no official plans in the diary to see the King and it is unlikely that they will meet due to simple geography." The source said: "Harry is still very concerned about his security in the UK and his team have asked that the location not be shared with anyone until the day of the event.

Afterward, the Duke is set to fly to South Africa to reconnect with long-time friends and support his Sentebale charity. With no official plans to meet King Charles, the geography of their respective locations makes a reunion improbable during this trip.

The 40-year-old will be the guest of honour at the annual WellChild Awards in London on 30 September, according to People. "WellChild is the national UK children's charity making it possible for children and young people with exceptional health needs to be cared for at home instead of hospital, wherever possible," reads a description on their website.

Dad-of-two Harry is also set to present the award for Inspirational Child. The prince, who lives in California, celebrated his 40th birthday on 15 September.
