The United Kingdom’s King Charles III and French President Emmanuel Macron greeted spectators as they walked together down a Paris street on Wednesday, September 20, during the king’s first state visit to France since his coronation.
The visit was initially scheduled for earlier this year, but had been postponed due to ongoing protests across French cities, according to the Telegraph.
This footage, posted on Macron’s social media accounts, shows the two heads of state walking down Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris.
On Wednesday night, Macron hosted a state dinner for King Charles and Queen Camilla at the Palace of Versailles, with Mick Jagger and other celebrities in attendance, Le Parisien reported. Credit: Emmanuel Macron via Storyful
