Yahoo News Kingsman 3 gets promising update from Taron Egerton
Kingsman 3 has gotten a promising update from lead star Taron Egerton.
The actor, who plays Eggsy in the spy series, revealed to Collider that he had spoken to director Matthew Vaughn about the third film in the franchise, which is rumoured to be titled Kingsman: The Blue Blood.
"[Vaughn] has every intention of making it, and I have every intention of playing Eggsy one more time," Egerton said.

"That was always what I thought I was committed to doing. It's the role that made my name, so I suppose, in a way, I just want it to be absolutely right if we do it again, and I want the story to do justice to the part that really changed my life."
He continued: "I want it to be a fitting ending. And I would, obviously, really hope that Colin [Firth] would come back for at least a part of it, and who knows?
"We'll have to see, but we are planning to talk about it, actually, the next time we see one another, so who knows? Watch this space. [...] [Vaughn is] certainly not backing off the idea."
Despite the shooting and schedule still being up in the air, Egerton revealed further that he had pitched an idea to Vaughn. However, he didn't disclose if it had been accepted.

“I have an idea for Kingsman. I have my own idea that I would like to pitch to Matthew, and I think that will be happening soon, but he has the wheels in motion on a big idea of his own," he said.
"So who knows, you know? Who knows where it will land?"
The third film was originally meant to start shooting immediately after the prequel The King’s Man, but Vaughn previously revealed that the idea was scrapped after the world got "turned upside down" in 2020.
The Kingsman movies, including prequel The King's Man, are streaming on Disney+.
