It's pretty common for little kids to have no idea what their parents do for a living. If we're being honest, I'm sure many of us still aren't 100% sure. Of course, you would think being a famous actor would kind of give it away, but it seems that Kirsten Dunst's son and Marvel fan James is totally unaware that she played Mary Jane alongside Tobey Maguire in Spider-Man.

On Sunday, the actress shared a sweet photo to Instagram that captured her youngest son, James, who she shares with husband Jesse Plemons, wearing a red T-shirt while holding a Spider-Man umbrella over his face.

"Has no clue his mom was MJ," Dunst captioned the post, referring to her character Mary Jane, Peter Parker's love interest.

Her famous friends dropped in the comments section to commend the awww-worthy moment. Elle Fanning wrote "SO GOOD," while Ayo Edebiri used emoji to express her adoration, "🥺😭❤️." Melanie Lynskey left an "Awwww ❤️," and singer-songwriter (and fellow 2000s queen) Vanessa Carlton wrote "Someday, but not today."

Dunst gave her husband the photo credits by including a camera emoji next to his name in the caption. The two also share an older son named Ennis, whom they welcomed back in 2018.

Dunst and Plemons met on the set of Fargo in 2015 and later started dating in 2016. In 2017, the two got engaged and officially tied the knot in Jamaica on July 8, 2022, according to People. In an interview from earlier this year, Plemons opened up about being married to Dunst and their nuptials.

"It's funny. I wasn't sure how different [marriage] was gonna feel because we've been together for a while and, two kids later, it's pretty solid, you know?" he told Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of Love & Death. "But there was something really nice about [a wedding] and actually setting aside time to celebrate it, and it does feel different, in a good way."
